The lighting towers are structures built to support projectors and accessories, are made with tubular sections of truncated pyramid shape press-folded sheet and welded longitudinally.
These sections should then be assembled on site by grafting forced ( Slip on Joint).
The stems are made of steel sheet S355JR UNI 10025 press-folded in subsequent stages and welded with welding process certificate IIS.
The light towers can be classified into three categories:
- with fixed platform;
- with mobile crown manual;
- with mobile crown electric (roundup or integrated).
For each tower are made the following processes:
- cable entry slot (if is the type buried)
- application to 180° of n° 2 grounding conductors;
- buttonhole inspection.
The galvanization of materials is obtained by dipping into bath of molten zinc which thickness of the zinc coating is conform with UNI EN ISO 1461.
LIGHTING TOWERS IN FIXED PLATFORM
Each lighting tower in fixed platform is equipped with a caged lift ladder, with intermediate rest area and a superior sizing platform suitable for the pre-established use.
LIGHTING TOWERS WITH MOBILE CROWN
The lighting towers in mobile platform are constituted by a crown, made of structural steel cold shaped and welded, that attached to the lifting head by elastic brackets and cables, allows to reach the top of the tower and descend to 1,600/1,700 mm from the ground for maintenance operations.
Carpal between the services offered to its customers provides, on request, the installation of lighting towers, run by a qualified team and provided with all the equipment necessary.
